Call 1-800-332-2344, 48 hours in advance. If you do not call 48 hours in advance before you dig, you are financially responsible for the water loss charges and for the cost of repair.

What happens when you call:

• You call the Utilities Notification Center
• UNC will notify utility companies.
• Member utilities mark lines.
• You dig safely.

What Happens if you DON'T call:

• Interruption of service.
• Job and project delays.
• Legal problems. 
• Accidents and injuries can occur.
